Privacy notice
How the PvPBET beta (beta.pvpxbet.com) uses your information.
Who we are and how to contact us
PvPBET is the project behind this free, test-credit beta of player-versus-player games. For privacy questions or requests, including access to or deletion of your data, email support@pvpxbet.com. If you reach a game through an operator, that operator also provides its own privacy information.
Information we collect
- Account: nickname, optional profile photo, email address, password hash (if you set a password), session identifiers and sign-in history.
- Google sign-in: if you choose it, your verified email address and Google's account identifier. See "Google user data" below.
- Play: match actions, outcomes, test-credit transactions, timestamps, reports and security records, including hashed network identifiers. Other players see your nickname and public game information; leaderboards show nicknames, wins and completed-match counts.
- Operator enquiries: company, contact name, email, optional website and message.
Please do not send identity documents, payment details or other sensitive information. The beta takes no payments.
Google user data
Google sign-in requests only the openid and email permissions.
- What we receive: your email address, whether Google has verified it, and Google's identifier for your account. We do not receive or store your name, photo, contacts, files or any other Google data, and we do not keep Google access or refresh tokens.
- How we use it: only to create your account, sign you in, and recognise you on later sign-ins. If an account already exists with the same verified email, the two are linked.
- Sharing: we do not sell Google user data, share it with advertisers, use it for advertising or profiling, or transfer it to anyone except hosting providers that run the service for us, or where the law requires it.
- Retention and deletion: the email and Google identifier are kept while your account exists. To delete them, email support@pvpxbet.com from the same address; you can also remove PvPBET's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
PvPBET's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Why we use information
To provide accounts and games, keep test-credit balances, answer enquiries, investigate errors, cheating and abuse, and support match replay and disputes. We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately opt in to beta update emails, which you can withdraw at any time in your account.
Storage on your device
The site stores sign-in tokens and interface preferences in your browser. Google sign-in may use a short-lived security cookie. Optional analytics run only if you choose "Allow analytics"; they record page categories and clicks without your account ID, full URLs or a persistent visitor identifier, and are removed after 30 days.
Who can access it
Authorised project staff may access data needed to run and secure the beta. Hosting and database providers process data on our behalf. If email verification is enabled, Resend delivers our verification and password-reset emails and so processes your email address. Emails are never shown on leaderboards.
How long we keep it
Account, match, transaction and enquiry records are kept while the beta runs and in backups for up to 14 days after deletion from the live database. Signing out or closing the browser does not delete server records; email us to request deletion.
Security, age and changes
The beta is for adults aged 18 or over and uses test credits with no cash value. We use access controls, encrypted connections and password hashing, but no service can promise absolute security. We will update this notice when the service or its data practices change.
